Jamui: Dental Checkup Camp Held at Kidzee Play School on National Doctors' Day

Jamui, Bihar | July 1, 2025: On the occasion of National Doctors' Day, a special dental checkup camp was organized on Tuesday at Zee Network’s Kidzee Play School, located in Mahisouri, Jamui. The camp aimed to promote oral health awareness among young children and was led by renowned local dentist Dr. Rinki.

During the camp, around 150 children underwent dental screening. Dr. Rinki educated them on the importance of oral hygiene, encouraging habits such as regular brushing, reduced sugar intake, and biannual dental checkups.

“Health is the greatest wealth. To maintain overall health, proper dental care and oral hygiene are essential,” said Dr. Rinki, while interacting with the students.

Children appeared highly engaged and inspired by Dr. Rinki’s friendly demeanor and expert guidance. Participants in the camp included students like Shreyansh, Ayyansh, Harsh, Anurag Aryan, Rudra, Pari, Rudransh, Aarushi, Anamika, Priya, and Aarohi, among others.

The event’s success was credited to the active involvement of school staff, including teachers Poonam Ma'am, Nandini Ma'am, Anju Ma'am, assistant Soni Singh, and Gaurishankar Sir, who played a key role in managing the program.

Speaking at the conclusion of the event, School Director Sachiraj Padmakar remarked, “Doctors are the backbone of our society. A healthy community is unimaginable without their service and dedication. On this special day, our goal was to instill health awareness in children as a tribute to doctors' selfless contributions.”

The program not only benefitted children’s physical well-being but also helped instill a sense of responsibility towards cleanliness and personal hygiene, aligning with the spirit of National Doctors’ Day.
