Dhananjay Appointed as Bihar State General Secretary of Socialist Party (India)

- Party to Contest All 243 Assembly Seats in Upcoming Bihar Elections
– National Conference Scheduled in Patna This August
Patna (Bihar) – Dhananjay Kumar Sinha, a prominent social activist of Bihar has been appointed as the Bihar State General Secretary of the Socialist Party (India). This strategic move comes as the party gears up for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, aiming to strengthen its organizational base across the state.

The announcement was made through an official letter issued by Sandeep Pandey, the National General Secretary of the Socialist Party (India). Sinha’s appointment is being viewed as a significant step toward building a robust political presence and grassroots organization in Bihar.

Speaking to the media following his appointment, Dhananjay Kumar Sinha stated that the Socialist Party (India) will contest all 243 seats in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He emphasized the party’s commitment to alternative politics and pledged to represent the voices of the marginalized and underprivileged communities.

He also announced that a National Conference of the party will be held in Patna in August, where discussions on election strategies and key public issues will take place.

Prior to joining the Socialist Party (India), Dhananjay Kumar Sinha held notable roles including State Media In-Charge of the Aam Aadmi Party in Bihar and the first Headquarters In-Charge of the Jan Suraj campaign. Known for his proactive leadership, clarity of vision, and in-depth understanding of social and political issues, Sinha has been entrusted with this key role to lead the party’s organizational growth in Bihar.

Party insiders believe that under Sinha’s leadership, the organization will expand to the grassroots level, accelerating the momentum of alternative politics in the state. Sinha also reiterated his commitment to building the organization on the pillars of social justice, transparency, and public participation.

Following the announcement, supporters and well-wishers extended their congratulations to Sinha.

Along with Sinha’s appointment, the Socialist Party (India) also unveiled its newly restructured Bihar State Committee. Key appointments include Om Prakash Poddar as Co-General Secretary, Dukhilal Yadav and Bhikhari Paswan as State Vice Presidents, Bindu Kumari and Baleshwar Yadav as Secretaries, and Nashoor Azmal as Treasurer.

Shashikant Prasad has been named as the State Spokesperson, while Alok Kumar and Amitabh Krishna will serve as State Media In-Charges, overseeing communications and outreach efforts.

Additionally, to coordinate with affiliate wings, Ashish Ranjan has been appointed Convener of the Socialist Kisan Sabha, Rajeev Kumar of the Socialist Yuvjan Sabha, and Indrajeet of the Socialist Students Union.

The party has asserted that this newly formed team will work collectively to build a strong organizational foundation in Bihar and play a decisive role in the upcoming state elections.
